Mount and Blade
Introduction
This Guide, does not refer to any particular Module or Mod. It refers only to the Management of the M&B-Server!
Settings
Startup
To set up your server, go to the "startup" tab.
There you have the following fields:
- Player count -> Shows the number of players that have space on the server. (Not adjustable!)
- Server name -> You can find your server under this name in the server-list.
- Welcome Message -> This message is displayed to everyone who enters the server.
- Admin Password -> Join the server with this password to have admin-rights.
- Server Password -> Only who has this password can join the server.
InGame
1. To make ingame-settings you have to join the server with the admin-password.
2. Now press Esc and go to administrator panel.
3. Here you can make most of the settings on your server. Since most of the settings are easy to understand, you only have to try a little bit to get along.
Module
To change the module of your server,
you need to delete your server and install a new server with the desired module
Uploading a Custom Map
The most frequent question we get is how to upload your own map that you have built to your i.e. Mount & Blade server.
For this we have a very simple and quick example that you can work through so that everything works.
1. Log in to MyGamePlatform
2. Click on My-Panel
3. Click on your gameserver
4. Click on Panel
5. Open File Manager
6. Click on Modules and select your module from the server.
7. Open ”ScenceObj” and add your map there and then save.
8. Open ”Scence.txt and add your code from your map.
9. Restart your server
After finish this steps, for i.e. Mount and Blade, the console output shows the following code should look something like this :
